Stage 5 is where things really take off! This stage includes our Garrett ball bearing cores. These have produced incredible results with a significant improvement in both response and power.

We have been using these cores in all our Subaru Turbo conversions for many years and first used the Garrett cores on our Evo Tuned Car Of The Year build back in 2010. 
These are available in a number of different variations which we can discuss with each customer to make sure we get the ideal match.

Along with the larger turbos we recommend switching to an improved intercooler design from Forge Motorsport. Testing has shown that higher power levels the standard intercoolers can become overwhelmed. 
After considerable trials, we found that the most efficient design for the GTR was a core of tube and fin design, and along with an overall increase in dimensions we have been able to improve the cooling ability and reduce the pressure loss across when compared to stock intercoolers.

The Stage 5 Power upgrade includes:

 

  • Forge front mounted intercooler with hard piping kit
  • Litchfield Turbo intake pipes
  • Litchfield 1,100cc Bosch Injectors
  • Twin fuel pumps
  • Litchfield Large Bore performance intake kit with larger MAF housing
  • 90mm Milltek full exhaust system with 321 Stainless Steel Down Pipes
  • Improved boost control with custom Ecutek code
  • Revised ignition control, Variable Valve timing and Fuel maps
  • Reduced fuel consumption (especially on partial throttle conditions)
  • Increase in both power and torque across the whole rev range
  • Litchfield RACEROM Switchable maps for enhanced Economy mode and full Race mode
  • Litchfield Custom Launch Control settings when used with Gearbox Software upgrade
